Updates

Hi all

1. Our AGM is on Thursday (5 September). Thank you to those who have offered to go on the Board and take up office holder positions - we still have one spot going!

2. Our gig for the Heart and Lung Transplant Association of WA is on Saturday (7 September). Thanks for your speedy responses, it's fantastic that we can get together at short notice for a good cause. It will be a smallish group.

We are singing Here Comes the Sun, Make Your Own Kind of Music and Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Standing in front of the stage, we will we be introduced, sing Here Comes the Sun, someone will speak, we will sing Make Your Own Kind of Music and then take our seats (I think stage left).

Then during the candle lighting ceremony, we will be invited forward again, stand in front of the stage and sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Please wear black and white.

The address is Bendat Parent and Community Centre, 36 Dodd Street, Wembley. Parking is available on the streets around the centre.

The ceremony starts at 2.30pm - please arrive at 2pm to warm up. It should be finished within an hour or so.

We have offered to do this gig for free as part of our ongoing commitment to charitable causes and giving back to the community.

3. Coralie sent around a Facebook post which profiles us for the Dunsborough Songfest - like it and share it please. Maybe we can snag us another tenor!

4. VoiceMale is doing a World Music Gig on Sunday 29 September at 2pm at St Paul's Church Hall in Beaconsfield (the place we went to for Fremantle Songfest). There will be music performances from TIDA Okinawan Dance, Burundi Peace Choir and VoiceMale. Contact Paul for tickets or purchase at the door ($15/$10 conc and children free). They are putting on supper for $5 a plate. I will send around the flyer.
