Hi all,

We have been advised about an upcoming event which some of you may be interested in. Details below:

Pub Yarns: Music and The Brain

Presented by "Meeting for Minds" an international mental health research organisation founded in Perth. http://meetingforminds.com/

"On Tue June 18th we are honoured to have Emeritus Professor Alan Harvey present the second Pub Yarn in our 2019 series.

Cottesloe Beach Hotel - 6-7pm

Enjoy a drink with friends and hear about the latest research into music, mental health and social harmony. A Q+A session will follow.

Prof. Harvey is a Senior Honorary Research Fellow of the Faculty of Science, School of Human Sciences, University of Western Australia, the Chair of the Perron Institute’s Research Advisory Committee and a former member of the Neurological Council of Western Australia.

This is a free event, however a gold coin donation on the evening will be gratefully received.

Essentially the Pub Yarns are informal chats around important subject matter; working with some of our greatest supporters and researchers doing their best to help move along the discoveries in a variety of fields.
