President's Update 5.9.19

Hi all,

Thanks for everyone's attendance last night at our AGM for 2019. A big thank-you to Cathryn as out-going President, you have done an amazing job and the entire choir appreciates all of your hard work over the last year - you are a gem.

For those of you who who were not able to make it to the meeting last night the incoming board for 2019/20 will be:

President - Vicki

Secretary - Marianne

Treasurer - Alec

Board Members - Marcia, Caryn, Sara and Neil.

Thanks to all of you who have volunteered their time for these roles.

It was great to celebrate with a few drinks and nibbles after the meeting for Cathryn as the arrival of her bub approaches, this was followed by a nice relaxed sing of a few of our favourites.

Other things to note:

We will be singing at the Thanksgiving Ceremony for the Heart and Lung Transplant Foundation this Saturday. Performing at 2.30, so we will meet at 2.00 for a quick warm-up at the Bendat Parent and Community Centre, 36 Dodd Street Wembley and a reminder to wear black and white for this event.
